Features: Vaio VPCEA290X-S CTO is a customizable laptop system from Sony. It comes with a 14" LED backlit display, which is standard for all Sony Vaio EA notebooks. Model VPCEA290X-S CTO is good for mainstream consumers that want to configure their own notebook systems. The EA Series has two CTO models. The other model is VPCEA290X CTO. The difference between these two configure to order models is the selection of processors and the color designs. The VPCEA290X-S CTO includes Intel Core i3 processor selections, which the VPCEA290X CTO does not. Intel Core i3 processors are entry-level performance processors and are great for those on a budget. Vaio model VPCEA290X-S CTO also comes with three distinct color designs: Arabesque Black, Arabesque Gold, and Arabesque Pink. The customization options for Sony's VPCEA290X-S CTO are good. There's quite a selection to choose from. Two notable upgrade options worth highlighting is the availability of Blu-ray players/burners and dedicated graphics solutions. These are nice features for computer users that want more performance. Caveats: There's little that can be said for Vaio VPCEA290X-S CTO. It's a configure to order system, so if there's anything of dislike, the option to switch it out for something better is there. Some might note the limited and unique color selection as a caveat. The designs may not appeal to all. The price is reasonable considering the performance, but it could be lower. The VPCEA290X-S CTO is definitely not a budget computer.
